5 (a) Refund Policy
Donations made to the Khushwant Singh Foundation are voluntary contributions towards charitable purposes.
As a general policy, donations are non-refundable. However, a refund may be considered only in exceptional circumstances, such as:
- Duplicate payment due to a technical error.
- Unauthorized transaction, subject to verification.
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction by emailing info@kslitfest.com with the transaction reference number, donor details, and reason for the request.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7–14 working days, subject to payment gateway and banking timelines.
5 (b). Cancellation Policy
As donations are voluntary contributions and not purchases of products or services, they cannot be cancelled once the transaction has been successfully completed.
If a donor believes a transaction was made in error, they may contact the Foundation as outlined in the Refund Policy. Any request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Payment Processing
Online donations are processed through secure third-party payment gateway providers. The Foundation does not store or have access to donors’ debit card, credit card, net banking, UPI, or other payment credentials.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Foundation shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, this Website, including temporary unavailability due to maintenance, technical issues, or circumstances beyond its control.
