Kodaikanal Gandhi Prize

Greetings!

The Khushwant Singh Literary Festivals’ (KSLF) Joy of Learning program, the Gandhi Peace Foundation and the literary journal Out of Print are pleased to announce the 4th edition of the Kodaikanal Gandhi Prize.

The Joy of Learning contest celebrates the legacy of Khushwant Singh, author, scholar, journalist, iconoclast. He was a mentor to generations of young people, journalists, and writers. We celebrate this legacy through The Joy of Learning, which encompasses the Joy of Words, Joy of Ideas and Joy of Reading. This has been held annually since the inception of KSLF in 2012.

Today we request your participation in the Joy of Reading – A Gandhi Essay Contest initiated by Radha Kumar, and partnered by Out of Print and the Gandhi Peace Foundation.

The winners will be recipients of the prestigious Kodaikanal Gandhi Prize, which will be announced on March 12, 2024. The significance of the date will be apparent to the participants.
